Running Rams are team runners-up at Marauder Invite

RUNNING RAMS ARE TEAM RUNNERS-UP AT MARAUDER INVITE - REM PIPER IS INDIVIDUAL CHAMPION Uncle Johns Cider Mill * St. Johns, Michigan - The Holt Rams Men's Cross Country Team continued their outstanding season with a 2nd Place Team finish at the 24th Annual Marauder Invite hosted by Ovid-Elsie HS at Uncle Johns Cider Mill. Heavy rains and wet course could not slow down the Running Rams as Holt placed three runners in the Top 10: Rem Piper = Meet Champion - 16:11.15 (PR) Adrian Abbott-Wallace = 3rd Place - 16.39.60 (PR) Trevon Johnson = 6th Place - 17:08.98 (SR) Overall, Holt placed seven (7) runners in the Top 25, fourteen (14) in the Top 50, and nine (9) who broke the 20:00 barrier. Even more impressive, ALL seventeen (17) runners who competed either set a Personal Best (PB) or a Season Record (SR) - absolutely phenomenal effort and performance by all! Holt is currently ranked #5 in the Greater Lansing (All Divisions), #6 in the Region (One of the Toughest in The State), and in the Top 36 in D1 (State Finals Indicator). The Running Rams are on the course again on Thursday, September 11 at the Chesaning XC Invitational. Have a tremendous day HOLT RAM NATION!
